Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of KeepCloud (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your password confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us as soon as possible if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. Storage plans and limits

Every account starts with 10 GB of free storage. Paid plans (Core, Standard, Max) provide additional storage and larger per-file upload limits in exchange for a recurring fee; current plan details and pricing are shown on the Account page. KeepCloud does not show ads on any plan, free or paid.

We enforce storage quotas and per-file size limits automatically. Uploads that would exceed your plan's limits, or that arrive when the underlying storage hardware is low on free space, will be rejected.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to store or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have the right to store or share. You also agree not to:

• attempt to bypass storage limits, rate limits, or the Service's automated abuse checks (including the "I'm not a robot" verification);
• use the Service to distribute malware, or to attack, scan, or disrupt other systems;
• attempt to access another user's account or files without authorization;
• use automated tools to create accounts or generate excessive load on the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.

4. Shared links

The "Share" feature generates a link that lets anyone with the link view or download a specific file for a limited time, or add a copy of it to their own account. You are solely responsible for what you choose to share and with whom. Anyone you share a link with can act on it before it expires; don't share links to content you don't want to become accessible to others.

5. No warranty; storage is not a backup

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While we take reasonable steps to protect stored data (including redundant hardware where available), KeepCloud is not a backup service. Hardware can fail, and no storage system is immune to data loss. You are responsible for keeping your own independent backup copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KeepCloud and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 3 months before the claim arose.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at our discretion. Where reasonably possible, we'll try to give notice before permanently deleting an account's data.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
